The Bible in English: Search Options

You can limit your search to particular elements of the data contained in The Bible in English by selecting items from the Search Options drop-down list on the Search Page. Note that these options apply only to Keyword searches.

• All Database: searches for occurrences of your search term(s) both in Biblical text and in notes and apparatus.
• Biblical Text Only: searches for occurrences of your search term(s) only in the Biblical text.
• Notes and Apparatus Only: searches for occurrences of your search term(s) only in supplementary notes and apparatus.

The default setting is All Database.
