Eighteenth-Century Fiction: Customising Search Results
Before executing a search, you can customise the results that
you will retrieve to suit your requirements. To do this, go to
the following part of the Search page:
In this part of the page, you can:
- specify how many entries retrieved are to be displayed
at a time. The lower the number of entries you specify, the faster they will be retrieved. The maximum number of entries that can be retrieved at a time is 99; the default number is 50.
- specify whether the documents retrieved will be displayed in
the form of subsets (sections of consecutive items) or in the
form of a sample (items selected by the software from those
retrieved, at regular intervals) by selecting the relevant option.
- specify the entry number at which you would like the first subset
to start.
