Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature: Full Record

From the Full Record page, you can use the Page Toolbar to refine your search, or to open a context-sensitive Help page.

From every page in the Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature you can use the Right-Hand Toolbar to consult general information about the Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature, to start a new search, and to switch between components of Individual Literature Collections.

You can access the Full Record page for a document in one of two ways from the Summary of Matches page:

• By selecting the relevant hyperlink. In this case, Next and Previous Record icons are offered within the Full Record. Clicking on one of these icons takes you to the Full Record for the next or previous entry in the Summary of Matches.

• By selecting multiple entries in the Summary of Matches using the checkboxes and clicking Selected record(s).

The Full Record page contains the text of all the records retrieved by your search and selected via the Summary of Matches. The order of the Full Record is the same as the order of the Summary of Matches; works are arranged in inverse chronological order by Publication Year and then alphabetically by primary work author name and title.

Where available, records contain the following information:

• Publication Year
• Subject Categories
• Link to Review(s)
• ABELL reference number (containing the volume year and revised ABELL entry number)

Reviews:

• Reviewer
• Primary work author(s) and Title
• Publication Details

• Subject Categories
• ABELL reference number (containing the volume year and revised ABELL entry number)

Festschriften and collections:

• Author(s)/Editor(s)
• Title
• Publication Details
• Publication Year
• Subject Categories for collection and all component articles
• Contents (containing the author(s), titles, publication details and subject heading for component articles)
• ABELL reference number (containing the volume year and revised ABELL entry number)

Note: certain diacritics and non-roman characters cannot always be reproduced exactly on the World Wide Web. Where this is the case, they have been converted into their nearest displayable equivalent.

Cross-references are indicated using textual hyperlinks. Click on the hyperlink to access the bibliographic information for the cross-referenced record.

In addition, if the search executed was an All Keyword or Title Keyword search, the hit icon will precede each instance of the word in the record(s) retrieved by your search.
